Hello Rideau Families,
Report Cards Are Coming
Communicating student progress through report cards provides an important summary of overall achievement. Teachers have collected a variety of work samples to determine each student’s proficiency across all subject areas.
Student achievement is measured using a 4-point scale and supported with descriptive comments. Student progress may vary across disciplines based on individual strengths and areas for growth, and achievement can change throughout the school year.
Teachers strive to provide ongoing communication and are always available for questions or clarification.
Report cards will be available through School Engage on February 24.
Please remember to download and/or print a copy of the PDF for your records.
Grade 4 and Grade 7 – Alberta Assurance Survey
Students have been given time to complete the provincially mandated Alberta Assurance Survey. This annual survey gathers important feedback about students’ and parents’ school experiences and supports continuous improvement in education.
Survey topics include:
- Creating welcoming, caring, respectful, and safe learning environments
- Student learning engagement
- Parental involvement in children’s education
Parents and guardians of Grade 4 and Grade 7 students should have received an email from School Improvement containing a survey link, a unique Random-Access Code, and detailed instructions.
We encourage all eligible parents and guardians to participate and share their feedback on their children’s education.
